Trip Itenarary
Day 1 - Sossusvlei Desert Lodge
Upon your arrival at Hosea Kutako International Airport, make
your own way to the arrivals hall where you will be welcomed
by an andBeyond representative.
You will be driven to Eros Airport (Windhoek) for your scheduled
Scenic Air charter flight to the Sossusvlei area. The Namib
Desert is a world of vast spaces, endless horizons, dramatic
desert-scapes and jagged mountain heights. (Approx. 1h15 mins)
Reconnect with yourself and with nature during your 3 night
stay at andBeyond Sossusvlei Desert Lodge in a Suite with
ensuite bathroom. Your stay includes accommodation, three
meals daily, soft drinks, house wines, local brand spirits and
beers, teas and coffees, refreshments on scenic nature drives,
laundry, emergency medical evacuation insurance, VAT,
transfers to and from the lodge airstrip. Activities includes: 1
morning Sossusvlei excursion, Living Dunes, Desert People,
Desert Rock, Desert Drive, Big Dune Walk, Stargazing and Self
Exploration (E-biking and Hiking) all subject to availability.Day 2 - Hot Air Balloon flight OR Scenic Helicopter flight

Hot Air Balloon flight:
At sunrise, in the world’s oldest desert,
witness a spectacular hot air balloon inflation, and set out on
the flight of a lifetime.From the best platform, in the most
romantic way, soar with the winds for an hour, over the oceans
of sand and mountains, endless vistas of shadows and lights.
Your destination The Sossusvlei dunes or the splendour of the
desert. At landing, you come back to earth with an Out Of Africa
style Champagne breakfast set up in the middle of nowhere.
Your pilot will present you with a flight certificate before you
take a leisurely nature drive back to the pick-up point. It is an
experience like no other, the experience of a lifetime.Scenic Helicopter flight:
Take off from nearby the lodge and soar over the vast expanse of the desert for an approximate 45 min helicopter flight. Hover over jagged mountain tops that emerge from the shifting Namib dunes and soar over a landscape that has remained unchanged for millions of years.

- Stay up late with the resident astronomer in the
observatory and watch dazzling stars through the
telescope. - Discover how the accommodation design harnesses the
natural environment to create energy and recycle
wastewater. Each suite is like its own solar power
plant, powering the air conditioning, and the recycling
systems. - Explore the spectacular dunes of the Namib, a world
of vast spaces, endless horizons and rugged mountain

landscapes.

Day 4 - Departure
You will be transferred to the airstrip for your scheduled Scenic
Air flight to Hosea Kutako International Airport (Windhoek). The
cleanest capital in Africa, Windhoek boasts a seamless blend of
African and European culture, friendly people and a fascinating
history. (Approx. 1h15 mins)
